Responsibilities
• Translate, localize, and adapt content between Amharic and English to maintain accuracy and cultural relevance
• Edit and proofread written materials for linguistic clarity, grammatical correctness, and style consistency
• Perform dubbing and voice-over tasks for multimedia and AI training datasets
• Engineer and process audio recordings, ensuring superior sound quality and format compliance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to train AI models for natural language processing and understanding in Amharic
• Apply linguistic expertise to annotate, evaluate, and refine language data for machine learning
• Provide subject matter insights to optimize workflows and address linguistic challenges

Requirements
• Native or near native proficiency in Amharic with excellent command of English
• Demonstrated experience in translating, editing, and localizing written and spoken content
• Solid background in linguistics and language analysis
• Proficiency with audio engineering tools for recording, editing, and processing voice content
• Strong written communication skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to handle multiple projects independently in a remote environment
• Experience in dubbing and voice-over work, especially for AI or multimedia applications

Nice to Have
• Previous experience working as an AI trainer or on language technology projects
• Familiarity with current trends in natural language processing and machine learning
• Knowledge of additional Ethiopian languages
