Responsibilities
• Translate, review, and edit a variety of written materials between Sudanese and English with impeccable accuracy
• Assess and enhance the quality of Sudanese language data for AI training and human linguistic projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine linguistic guidelines and best practices
• Create culturally relevant content, idiomatic expressions, and use case scenarios in Sudanese
• Analyze, annotate, and provide feedback on Sudanese text to improve natural language processing models
• Ensure all communications and deliverables meet high standards of clarity, tone, and cultural sensitivity
• Support ongoing development of Sudanese language resources and AI tools

Requirements
• Native or near native proficiency in the Sudanese language with strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated experience in translation, editing, and linguistic projects involving Sudanese
• Excellent command of written communication and meticulous attention to linguistic detail
• Proven ability to work independently and remotely with expert-level professionalism
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities for linguistic data assessment
• Familiarity with linguistic annotation, language technology, or AI language models
• Ability to provide insightful feedback and adapt to evolving project needs

Nice to Have
• Experience as an AI language trainer or in data annotation for AI projects
• Background in computational linguistics or language-related technology fields
• Prior work on global or cross-cultural linguistic teams
