Responsibilities
• Translate, review, and edit diverse texts and digital materials to ensure accuracy and cultural appropriateness in Haitian Creole
• Collaborate with AI development teams to train and evaluate language models for Haitian Creole
• Provide expertise on linguistic nuances, grammar, and regional expressions to enhance AI language understanding
• Ensure all written and verbal communications meet high standards of clarity, coherence, and consistency
• Develop guidelines and glossaries for Haitian Creole language usage within the project
• Evaluate and provide feedback on language data, translations, and content generated by AI systems
• Stay updated on emerging trends in Haitian Creole linguistics and language technology

Requirements
• Native or near native proficiency in Haitian Creole with excellent command of written and spoken language
• Proven experience in translation, editing, or linguistic research involving Haitian Creole
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to provide constructive linguistic feedback and quality assurance
• Experience working in cross-functional, multicultural teams
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively in a remote environment
• Familiarity with digital tools for editing, translating, or AI training

Nice to Have
• Background in computational linguistics, language technology, or related field
• Prior experience training AI or working with language data for technology projects
• Published work or recognized contributions in the field of Haitian Creole linguistics
