Responsibilities
• Translate, transcribe, and annotate content accurately in Waray, maintaining context and cultural relevance
• Review, edit, and enhance translated materials for clarity, consistency, and linguistic accuracy
• Collaborate with AI engineers and linguists to optimize language data for AI training purposes
• Provide expert insight on Waray language nuances, idiomatic expressions, and regional dialects
• Evaluate and improve the performance of language models by providing feedback and linguistic analysis
• Ensure adherence to project guidelines and quality standards set by the team
• Document linguistic findings and contribute to resource materials for AI development

Requirements
• Native or near native proficiency in Waray with a strong command of written and verbal communication
• Professional experience in translation, linguistic analysis, or language teaching
• Exceptional editing and proofreading skills with attention to detail
• Ability to identify and interpret linguistic subtleties and regional variations
• Proficiency with digital collaboration tools and remote work environments
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Passion for language technology and AI innovation

Nice to Have
• Experience as an AI trainer or working on AI language projects
• Linguistics degree or formal training in language studies
• Familiarity with other Philippine languages or multilingual skills
