Responsibilities
• Evaluate and correct Laotian language data for accuracy, clarity, and cultural relevance
• Translate, localize, and edit diverse content, maintaining high standards of linguistic fidelity
• Contribute to the training and fine-tuning of AI models by providing linguistic insight and feedback
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to improve Laotian language datasets and workflows
• Develop comprehensive documentation and guidelines to ensure quality and consistency
• Identify language nuances, idiomatic expressions, and stylistic preferences for varied project requirements
• Support ongoing linguistic reviews and iterative improvements for optimal AI language outcomes

Requirements
• Native or near native proficiency in Laotian with exceptional command of written and verbal communication
• Strong background in linguistics with proven translation and editing experience
• Keen attention to detail and a passion for language accuracy and cultural relevance
• Experience working with language data or in an AI trainer capacity preferred
• Ability to work independently in a remote expert-driven environment
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills
• Proactive, collaborative and results oriented mindset

Nice to Have
• Experience in AI language training or human-in-the-loop data annotation
• Advanced degree in Linguistics, Translation Studies, or a related field
• Familiarity with language technology tools and data annotation platforms
