Responsibilities
• Create prompts and gold-standard Urdu answers across domains such as education, customer support, translation, localization, and conversational writing
• Evaluate and rank AI outputs for fluency, correctness, tone match, register consistency, meaning preservation, and cultural appropriateness
• Review outputs for grammar, spelling, RTL formatting, ambiguity, and prompt adherence
• Identify mistranslations, hallucinations, awkward phrasing, incorrect agreement, and culturally mismatched language
• Fact-check claims when needed and write model rewrites that demonstrate best practices
• Detect unsafe, misleading, or policy-risk language across use cases

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Linguistics, Urdu Literature, English Literature, Communications, Journalism, Translation, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Native or near-native Urdu proficiency with strong reading and writing skills
• Minimum C1 English proficiency to follow guidelines and provide detailed feedback in English
• 3+ years of professional experience in writing, editing, localization, translation, content QA, journalism, education, or related language-focused work
• Deep understanding of Urdu grammar, spelling, punctuation, Nastaliq conventions, RTL formatting, tone, and style
• Ability to work across formal, conversational, Pakistan Urdu, India Urdu, and Urdu-English code-switching contexts
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot subtle meaning, tone, and quality issues
• Reliable and self-directed in a remote contractor workflow
• Prior experience in AI data training, translation QA, localization QA, editorial QA, or rubric-based evaluation is strongly preferred
