Responsibilities
• Create detailed prompts and gold-standard legal outputs such as issue analyses, drafting examples, checklists, policies, and memos
• Evaluate and rank AI responses for correctness, clarity, defensibility, and risk awareness
• Review outputs for accuracy, completeness, and prompt adherence
• Identify errors in legal reasoning, rule application, procedural steps, and assumption handling
• Fact-check legal concepts and citations when required
• Write high-quality explanations and model answers that demonstrate strong legal analysis
• Test AI outputs for inaccuracies, misleading certainty, confidentiality risks, and bias
Requirements
• JD, LLB or equivalent law degree
• Active bar membership or eligibility in at least one jurisdiction
• 5+ years of professional legal practice experience in a law firm, in-house, government, or legal aid setting
• Strong issue spotting and structured legal analysis skills
• Experience in one or more areas such as commercial contracts, employment, privacy, corporate, litigation, intellectual property, real estate, or compliance
• Strong legal research skills with the ability to locate and synthesize primary authority
• Excellent drafting and editing skills across contracts, memos, letters, policies, or pleadings
• Minimum C1 English proficiency and strong attention to detail
• Reliable and self-directed in a remote contractor workflow
• Prior experience in AI data training, legal QA, editorial review, or knowledge management is strongly preferred
