Responsibilities
• Partner with Editorial and subject matter experts to understand list methodologies and determine data requirements
• Evaluate existing Forbes data assets and identify opportunities for reuse across lists
• Recommend appropriate data sourcing approaches including internal data, surveys, applications, or third-party providers
• Evaluate data quality, sufficiency, and thresholds to support defensible and repeatable list outcomes
• Contribute to development of Forbes' centralized list database
• Ensure data is properly permissioned and classified for use across Forbes lists and reports
Requirements
• 4-6 years experience in research, analytics, or data strategy
• Strong experience working with structured datasets, surveys, or third-party research sources
• Ability to evaluate and define data quality and align data to methodologies
• Strong attention to detail with complex rankings data
• Experience with survey and data collection platforms (Typeform, Qualtrics)
• Strong communication skills to explain data decisions to non-technical audiences
Preferred
• Experience shaping rankings, benchmarks, or large research programs
• Experience in ambiguous or evolving environments
